We deliver cutting-edge, comprehensive dental services to active duty service members. Active duty Air Force members will be contacted through their unit health monitors to schedule periodic dental exams. Eligible patients with dental emergencies to include acute severe pain, bleeding, significant swelling or trauma may call the dental clinic for a screening appointment during duty hours, or report to the Emergency Department at David Grant Medical Center during non-duty hours. Air Reserve Component members on orders greater than 30 days may be seen on a case-by-case basis dependent upon the specific duty conditions and treatment needs. Specialty services include general dentistry, preventive dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery, also known as OMS. Specialty services are delivered on a case-by-case basis to qualifying members. The dental clinic also operates a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry, (AEGD-1, and a 4-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
