Service Changes and Updates
Labor & Delivery Unit
David Grant USAF Medical Center’s Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit will be temporarily adjusting delivery services. During this time, expectant mothers who go into labor will be guided to neighboring hospitals for their deliveries.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Deliveries: Deliveries will not take place at DGMC during this period. Our nursing staff will be available to help patients identify and coordinate with alternative delivery locations.
- Prenatal Care: Prenatal appointments at the Women’s Health Clinic and Family Medicine Residency Clinic will continue as scheduled. Your healthcare provider will work with you to create a delivery plan at another hospital.
- Lactation Services: Lactation support will remain available.
We understand this change may be disruptive, but please know our top priority is the safety and care of our patients. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. For questions, please contact the Women’s Health Clinic at 707-423-5361/5311 or Labor and Delivery at 707-423-3619.
