Mental (Behavioral) Health

Everyone reacts to stress and traumatic experiences differently. While some have reactions that can be seen as normal responses to life events, others may experience signs or symptoms of more serious conditions.

Mental health and substance misuse conditions can affect anyone; you are not alone. The Military Health System has many resources available to help those who need it.

If you or someone you know needs support now, call or text 988 or chat at 988Lifeline.org. 988 connects you with a trained crisis counselor who can help.

60th Medical Group Mental Health Services

Our facility offers the following mental health services:
  • Vectoring: we help every new patient find the resource that best fits their need for the current concern. This includes resources outside the mental health clinic.
  • Individual and Group Therapy
  • Medication Management
  • Neuropsychological Testing
Call the mental health clinic directly or obtain a referral from your primary care manager to discuss available resources. There are many options for support. Primary Care Behavioral Health teams licensed mental health providers with PCMs to enhance your health care; just ask your PCM team! The Military and Family Readiness Center houses Military and Family Life Counselors. MFLCs offer solution-focused non-medical counseling for a range of problems. Military OneSource offers a wide range of programs from non-medical counseling to elder care support. Chaplains offer 100% confidential support that does not need to have a religious focus. True North is a program that embeds mental health professionals and chaplains in several units across the 60th Air Mobility Wing. True North staff keep offices in the Mission Support Group, Maintenance Group, and Contingency Response Group.
